It's been a while since I've actually written about running. So here it is.
I ran 2 miles on the dreadmill. It's satisfying, but not as fun as running outside. I couldn't run outside due to air quality. The air quality is still bad, due to the fires that the firefighters hope to have completely contained later this week. Sometimes it smells smokey, sometimes you don't realize there's been a fire, but with my asthma, I'm not chancing it.
I'm sticking with 2 miles for Wednesday and Thursday, I have a 5K on Friday, the Dinosaur Dash 5K. (There's a 10k, but Mr. ITBS cancelled my plans for a 10K in 2007.) It's a fundraiser for a local school district in which my WW meeting friend teaches.
I'm hoping to be back on track for a 10K next year. I'm shooting for the Great Race of Agoura Hills 10K, maybe a 1/2 marathon before the Disney 1/2 in September.
Ideas of running grandeur may be taking root.
